We are looking for an experienced and passionate chef to lead our team at our new restaurant Fangst, which will be located on Vervet's quayside promenade.
As a kitchen manager, you will be responsible for planning and leading food production, maintaining quality standards, managing kitchen staff and ensuring efficient operations.
Develop and implement menus in line with our conceptual direction and guest preferences
Monitor and maintain food quality, taste and presentation
Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, budget planning and cost control
Train, mentor and motivate the kitchen team to achieve the highest standards of service and quality
Maintain sanitary and hygienic standards in accordance with applicable regulations
Minimum 5 years of experience as a chef, of which 2 years in a leadership role
Solid knowledge of cooking techniques, menu planning and cost control
Ability to thrive under pressure and deliver results within deadlines
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate the team
Creativity, accuracy and a passion for gastronomy
